Questions families ask
Is Through Ball official?
No. Through Ball is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by ECNL, MLS NEXT or any club. Tables are rebuilt from the leagues' published results and ordered by each league's own rules, so they can differ briefly while a result is being corrected.
Which leagues and ages does it cover?
MLS NEXT (Homegrown and Academy Divisions), ECNL Boys, ECNL Girls and the ECNL Regional League for boys and girls, from U13 to U19, every conference.
How are the playoff chances worked out?
A statistical model rates every team from its results, starting from how the same players did last season. It then plays out the rest of the season thousands of times under each league's official postseason rules and counts how often each team qualifies. It's a forecast, not a promise, and the app shows how accurate past predictions have been.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-in. The app counts which screens get opened, anonymously, and you can turn that off in More. The teams you follow stay on your phone, and alerts go to anonymous team topics, so we never know who gets them.
What does Premium cost?
$0.99 a month, or $4.99 once for the whole 2026–27 season (good until July 31, 2027). It's bought in the app through the App Store or Google Play. Everything else is free.
